Presentation of the Results – the Exhibition
The video sequences together with the photos were presented as
an installation behind a glass wall next to the secretary’s
office in the school.
As in the computer room, the photos of the students were hung on
the walls according to the respective eye levels. Behind the glass,
also at the respective eye levels, were television monitors, which
played back the video sequences via a DVD player. In order to not
distract the eye (and naturally also for aesthetic reasons) the
technology was concealed with fabric, so that only the monitors
were seen through a cut-in “window”. One film presentation
was conceptualised differently as the others. The one belonging
to the student who had hypertonicity was to be observed on a projection
surface, which allowed it to be seen ‘backwards’, and
was hung slanted over the heads of the future visitors. It was
then projected onto the surface. The position of the student could
be sympathized with best, in this way.

Naturally the students helped with the construction of the exhibition.
And this exhibition had to be appropriately opened – without
a doubt! So they also independently produced invitation cards on
the computer, which were then distributed in the classes...
On opening day, snacks were then prepared. Excitedly they waited
for their guests. It grew fuller and fuller until the school administrator
held the opening speech. There was a lot of talk, comments and
marvelling. The students could be proud. |
