/ Conclusion
During the project it was quite noticeable that the students
exhibited very different social characteristics. It ranged
from open and helpful, to selfishness, which manifested itself
(only in one student) in an extreme concentration on his/her
abilities. Consequently, technical things were happily accepted,
where as clear difficulties arose in agreeing to collaborate.
It also has to be said though, that all of the students respected
one another and enjoyed filming and taking pictures together.
When someone was sick the others were sad.
They recognize that their own view is only one among
many possibilities, that each student has their own
interests and „perspective“ and that one
can discover new things when one tries to see through
the eyes of another. Hopefully through their journal,
and a DVD with their pictures and films they will continue
to hold this project in their memory.
But not only the students have learnt new things.
Also the adults, who looked at the exhibition, discovered
with surprise the different perspectives presented
and the abilities of the students to create artistic
things. In this way, some were made aware for the first
time what the students “see”.
