The children had lots of fun embellishing the shark attack in the swimming pool. Children at this age love to draw sharks and present humans as shark food.
I always make sure that I have red felt-pens in the workshop, as red is the most requested colour from boys and girls. It is used to make auto accidents more graphic, and to depict flying organs after an explosion, but also to draw small hearts and little bows. This animation film is the first in my workshop in which sharks attack human beings – without a drop of blood being visible.
One reason perhaps is that the girls are so wonderfully drawn; they disappear with perfectly curled hair into the throat of the shark.
